Sometimes it is hard to make it to a meeting. We understand that. So in an effort to help keep you informed and connected, we will update the meeting minutes each month.

JOIN US FOR MONTHLY NEIGHBORHOOD MEETINGS

2nd Tuesday of each month
7:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Exceptions – January & July (No Business Meetings) Start at 7:00 pm at the Neighborhood Center.

Each year in January SPNA celebrates folks that neighbors nominate as SOUTH PARK UNSUNG HEROES.  This month we celebrated the following awesome folks who live, work or play in SP.

  • Sharon Schaffner – for service to the South Park Senior Center Board and tireless fundraising and activity planning
  • Fred Mara – for constant service to the neighborhood such as maintaining areas of the farm and the neighborhood by the farm
  • Maria Socorro Campos (Coco) – for all she does for Concord students and parents
  • Lupine Miller – Library Rock Star in Chief !!!
  • Beatriz Pascual Wallace – One of our amazing South Park Library staff members
  • Stacey Hansen – One of our amazing South Park Library staff members
  • Martin Sanchez – One of our amazing South Park Library staff members

  • Jiuseppina Porco aka Josephine aka Pina aka mom – For filling our stomachs with Napoli Pizza, employing folks in the neighborhood, serving the neighborhood, donating to the neighborhood and being amazing in the neighborhood
  • Mr. Pentland – An incredible role model and first grade teacher at Concord
  • Carmen Martinez – for her service to the neighborhood. For everything she does (which is a ton) for her mentorship and involvement with our youth.
